A self-catering break through Which Cottage means luxury, freedom and pure enjoyment. It means your home-from-home is your castle (quite literally – we do have some castles available!), you won’t be hassled to vacate your room at some unearthly hour so the part time cleaner can come in at the crack of dawn, and no one will give you the “evil eye” if the music session ran over and you didn’t get back until 2am. Self-catering also allows you to pick and choose not only what you eat, but when you eat it – especially good fun if you’re in an area of the country renowned for great local produce available fresh on a local market day. And if it all gets too much, you can enjoy an undisturbed late morning in bed, knowing that the paid-for inclusive breakfast has not been forfeited. It is fair to say that with so many wonderful properties to choose from, it can be quite a task to reserve the ideal holiday cottage. However, Which-Cottage operate somewhat differently to other sites – you deal directly with the owner – so there’s an immediate answer as to availability, and there are no agency fees to mysteriously inflate the price you thought you were going to pay. And this applies to cottages throughout the UK (England, Scotland and Wales) and Ireland. Which-Cottage ensures all facts and figures are at your fingertips – number of occupants, number of rooms, facilities and included extras (such as Wi-Fi, BBQ etc), disabled access, pet-friendliness, things…

So you’ve never glamped? Well, glamping – or glamorous camping – is a new trend and enables you to stay in absolute comfort whilst enjoying the freedom of the great outdoors. Gone are tents flapping in the wind, fly sheets catching rain, and warning to the kids not to trip over the guy ropes during the dead of night and pull the tent pegs out. The glamping is undertaken in a luxurious Tibetan yurt, with a double bedroom and double sofa bed, furniture, bathroom, wood-burning stove, gas hob and fridge, windows, cotton sheets, towels, rugs, and, to totally remove any association with “Carry on Camping”, hot and cold running water! Rest assured your local Scout Troop will be green with envy! However, to bring you back to earth and at least witness some ‘pure’ camping thrills, you are provided with a Victorian laundry, complete with mangle, tin bath and wash board in case you feel the need to do any washing on your yurt break! And outside you’ll find a deck, table and chairs, solar lamps and a BBQ – absolutely perfect to relax and enjoy the wonderful view. The yurt is just 4 miles from the thriving market town of Inverurie, with its monthly Farmer’s Market, many small shops, businesses and services. Not even an hour’s drive away are the lovely picturesque villages along the Moray coast, together with the coastal towns of Stonehaven, Peterhead, Fraserburgh and form those seeking magnificent scenery, Strathdon and Royal Deeside. In the lush meadows surrounding your yurt, you’ll…

Late-availability-cottages.com, from the self-catering holiday accommodation experts Which Cottage, specialises in the provision of accommodation with availability only in the next six weeks. And what each Late-availability-cottages.com property has in common is plenty of space, fully fitted throughout, and you can come and go as you please. Late availability of larger, self-catering holiday cottages make group trips in the countryside practical and enjoyable.
